Introduction :
The 500 years of
sunk belief that the recoil in firearms is eternal, is not easily overcome. On
the other hand the facts of live demonstration of 95% recoil reduction in
handgun, rifle, & shotgun can not be denied.
With no law of Physics broken and with Newton’s blessings, the live
demonstration is valid a evidence on this breakthrough.
Experimental proof of recoil reduction is evidenced by the recoil meter readout
(see below).
Further verification is by simultaneously shooting the originl gun in feft hand
and a similar one with retrofit INSERT in the right hand. The decisive
difference is felt and so is the difference in kickback displacemenis.
Current muzzle brakes and over 14 types of recoil reducers inserted in the butt
of a gun gave insufficient recoil reduction but they reduced shoulder pain of
skeet shooters.
The
live demonstration :
For the live demonstration we offer a subjective & an
objective evaluation using in-house built recoil meter:
1. Subjective live demonstration:
Any interested person can perform his own self-demonstration
at AAE facility by firing the original handgun, rifle, or shotgun in the left
hand and simultaneously firing a second modified one in the right hand. The
shooter will feel the huge difference in the felt recoil as well as sees the big
difference in kickback displacement.
In addition, the person can see an objective readout of our
inhouse-built recoil meter described below.
2. Objective readout of reco8il meter:
The schematics of the recoil meter is seen in Fig. 1 & the
recoil meter readout in Figs 2.

The handgun is strapped
by 4 restrainers: the back side of the gun behind the handle to the
left, below the muzzle infront of the gun handle to the right, on the
top side behind the muzzle, and a latch to keep the gun from flying up
out of its holder. As the gun is fired the mount pushes the inertia
block backwards causing a displacement to the left.
The inertia block has the heavy metal (red) to keep the leftwards
momentum generated by the recoil kick. Magnets are embedded in the lower
surface of the inertia block to exert a costant force (drag) and a
static inertia against leftwards displacement.
The displacement is measured by a micrometer anchored to the iron
platform floor by a small magnet. The micrometer driver attached to the
inertia block pushes the micrometer slide to measure the displacement
caused by the recoil.
From the displacement distance resulting from the recoil, the recoil
force is read from the calibration curve.
3. Uplift readout:
With a second micrometer driver on the backside of the gun mount, the
angle of rotation or uplift is read.
Test
& Evaluation of recoil adapter :
A
US test facility (Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey) recently developed a device
that measures recoil reduction from various designs applied to small arms.
Experience has shown, however, that there is usually a long waiting
time before a system can be tested at Picatinny. AAE is trying to get on the
waiting list. We will publish the Picatinny report upon receiving it.
Meanwhile, for R&D purposes, AAE has developed its own
recoil-measuring device, recoil meter.
Results and discussion:
For this emerging technology, the results are
promising. The recoil adapter reduced recoil in the hand gun by 67%, uplift by
70%, and in M16 by 95%. Without breaking any law of physics, there is much more
to be learned in this emerging technollogy.
To get our scientific findings established, we wait for a second independent
report from Picatinny Arsenal.
This scientific finding will be established when one of our clients reports its
use on cannons The 120mm long cannon with insert-adapter retrofit will kick back
a displacement of 30cm instead of 2-3 meters.
